Customer Reviews: Don't waste your money......February 24, 2010 Coyote Hunter(NH) I purchased this unit thinking I was getting a $120 unit at a great price. This unit is not worth the $29 it sells for. After installing 4 fresh AA batteries I got a wimper out of it and that was it. It failed to work. The sound cards were difficult to install and the unit is clearly cheaply made. Don't waste your time or money with this call. I will attempt to get a refund. They should QC check these units BEFORE they send them out. It makes me question the quality of other products this distributor sells....not Amazon but The Sportsmans Guide. I hope they give me a refund...I don't want a replacement...I'll keep you informed as to my experience with their Customer Service dept.
its not awfulFebruary 23, 2010 Justin Foard I wouldn't say that this caller is absolutly worthless, because it does sound good. The 3.5mm output from the main device to the external speaker is pretty loose fitting to the cord making the sound quaility bad or nonexistant if it is not pluged in just right. One major thing that you have to remember with this unit if you want it to keep working is turn it off before you change soound cartrages. If I forget to turn it off first it wont work at all for a good two or three minutes. But over all I did only spend thirty-nine dollars on it or so.
